  13. Question: What are the benefits of registering?

  15. Answer:  Registration provides:

  17. a) monthly updates for one year; this is VERY important since the 
  18. law constantly changes, and if you have an old edition YOU MAY BE 
  19. USING OUTDATED INFORMATION;
  20.  
  21. b) FREE upgrades (yes we even mail them) for one year;
  22.  
  23. c) special access to our private BBS (bulletin board system);
  24.  
  25. d)  support via phone, our private BBS, GENIE, COMPUSERVE,  EXEC-
  26. PC; THE INVENTION FACTORY;
  27.  
  28. e) discounts on all of our other products (The Legal Survival
  29. Course,  The  Building Trades Legal Guide, The Social Security
  30. Guide on Disk, The Veterans Benefits Guide on Disk, and any other 
  31. products that we develop in the future)

  33. Question: The Document Generator does not load, and I am dropped
  34. to DOS. What now?
  35.  
  36. Answer:  In 99.999% of the cases you do not have enough memory.
  37. The  Home and Business Legal Guide requires 448K free memory to
  38. run the document generator. We emphasize FREE memory. If you have
  39. many TSR's (terminate and stay resident) programs, or are running
  40. a DOS shell, you may start with 640K or more, but end up with
  41. 300K or even less! Therefore, launch the Legal Guide after
  42. unloading the menus or TSR's.

  44. Question: In the living wills and deeds sections, some states are 
  45. missing. Why? And, what form do I use.
  46.  
  47. Answer:  Whenever possible we use forms that are approved by the
  48. state legislatures. If a state is specifically listed, then its
  49. living will law and real estate laws specify forms that must or
  50. are recommended for use. In other states, use the forms marked
  51. "uniform."

  53. Question: I need information on an area of law that is not
  54. covered. Can you help?
  55.  
  56. Answer: Yes! Please let us know and since we do monthly updates
  57. we will try and get to user requests rapidly.

  59. Question: What kind of computer do I use with the program?
  60.  
  61. Answer: Any IBM PC compatible. This includes the PC, AT, XT, 386,
  62. 486 family, with 448K FREE memory available. A hard drive is
  63. required for the full program. However, floppy disk only users
  64. can contact our office for a limited version of the program which
  65. operates from floppy disks. We VERY STRONGLY recommend that you
  66. consider installing a hard disk if you do not have one; most
  67. programs these days require them! There are very few new programs
  68. being developed that do not require a hard drive.  Also, a
  69. printer is recommended. Any monitor will work just fine.
